IRT TO HOLD 2010 CHRISTMAS CAROL AUDITIONS

For boys and girls ages 8-13 on Tuesday, August 10^th and Wednesday, August 11^th from 5:00pm – 7:00pm.

Callbacks will be on Wednesday , August 18^th at 5:30pm. All auditions will be held at the Indiana Repertory Theatre – 140 West Washington, Indianapolis.

Call the receptionist at IRT (635-5277) to sign up for more information and audition times.

Please prepare a one-minute monologue or story to share, and bring a picture of yourself and a short resumé.

See website (irtlive.com) for details and dates of shows. Children of all ethnicities are encouraged to come to auditions.  Rehearsals begin on October 29^th, 2010.

IRT is seeking Female and Male Actors (NO CHILDREN) of any age and/or ethnicity for  shows to be announced in April. (Child Actor auditions  will be held in May and August)

Three minutes will be allotted to each auditioner. No musical auditions are required.

Equity Actors wanting an appointment should call Jerry Craney at the IRT: 317-635-5277.  There is no audition cut-off date to sign up for Equity auditions.

Equity actors without an appointment, who come the day of the auditions will be offered any open slots, on a first come, first serve basis.  EMC candidates will be eligible for open slots after Equity actors, followed by non-Equity actors.

No telephone appointments will be taken for Non-Equity actors.

The Indiana Repertory Theatre calls for young talent to audition for IRT’s family holiday classic, A Christmas Carol.  IRT’s Associate Artistic Director Priscilla Lindsay returns to the director’s chair in this production rich in festive spirit and fun.

Auditions: IRT requests children ages 8 – 13 and of all ethnicities to audition.  Please prepare a one-minute monologue or a story to share, and bring a picture of yourself and a short resume.  Auditions will be held Monday, August 3^rd and Tuesday, August 4^th at 5-7 p.m. and callbacks will be on Thursday, August 6^th at 6:00 p.m.  All auditions will be held at the Indiana Repertory Theatre – 140 W.
